If he is willing to gamble on being able to control to.
He must know that TO is a magnitude of attitude beyond Key, or LT or any
of the other primma donna types he has handled over the years.
That is what this move sounds like- a desperate grab!!

There are so many ways this can all go wrong- its a huge gamble; I just cannot understand the seeming need to do this. JJ maybe- but this is unlike BP.

I think it's clearly a statement that Parcells is at the end of his career.

He wants to take the shot now.

If he was 50 years old, I think it would be an entirely different situation.

I believe if Bill were 50 T.O. would get a long contract and BP would be there throughout that contract.

If he we're impatient and thinking win at all cost he'd be pulling a Snyder.

Getting rid of age, targeting cost effective 4-5 year guys, low balling 30+ guys like Fabini, Sowell.

We had more rookie starts than any team in the league last year.

Oh yeah, quite a few 64 year olds are near the end of their careers, but it clearly ain't win at all costs mode at VR.

I dont think it's a "win at all costs" move...I simply said that I think he wants to take his shot now...and that if he was 50, he'd handle the situation differently.

I don't think BP is desperate. I doubt he wants any part of TO. That would be a Jerry signing, and unfortunately the beginning of the end for this version of the Cowboys. TO is a team destroyer, not a missing piece to a possible Superbowl run.

Everything is rumors now. I hope they stay rumors. Hate to see that pathetic waist of a human being systematically wreck this franchise.
