as Cowboys coach will be that he never found the right QB to lead them
back to the promise land.

You are brave for posting anything negative about BP on here.

I think his legasy will remain positive with his time here in Dallas, as I think he has made some changes that may help the franchise down the road. Mainly, if his changes to our scouting department continue to produce solid drafts we should give credit to Parcells for that.

I don't think he takes this team to the superbowl during his tenure and his legasy takes a minor hit. I think he made some poor decisions on key positions early on, such as QB, and he doesn't have the years left in his career to make up for them.

However, I think he leaves this franchise better off for the long run, even if the NFL has passed him by a little and he doesn't get a trophy.

If most of just this years draft pans out he will have left a pretty damn good legacy to a lot of us.

We need to wait until his time is done here before we try to figure our BP's legacy.

parcells legacy is safe. he has the SB wins, he has taken several teams
to the championship game, and he has been good for the Cowboys.
(and i dont even like him ..not that he would care ).

but he has never been known as a great developer of QB's. that isnt part
of his legacy.

I afraid it migh be....

He was a good coach who was successful with many teams. But even the great one could not resurrect the sink hole created by Jones and Co.

:( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

He turned around every team save for one, due to stubborness and age.

You do realize, even it isn't Parcells, playesr like Witten, Jones, Ware, Spears, Canty, James(if he plays like he should), Henry will be the core to our success. Look at NE, alot of the guys who are big contributers up there were drafted by BP. Vrey worst case, he leaves us with a solid core of players.

Yes Bledsoe hasnt done much to show us he isnt going to hold the ball too long, etc. But remember, he has yet to play a meaninful down for us, so give it some time, he may just do alright. He would have a ring if it werent for Desmond Howard, remeber that

The jury may be at the door on one verdict.............but at the moment we have a hung jury on the other two cases in question.

Thats the bad part about message boards, alot of times, people take such offense to something they have little control over. I personally am Pro-Parcells, but I'm not going to chastise anyone for disagreeing with me.

I could care less how Parcells is remembered. If we win the big one while he is here then great. If he leaves us with a core of players so that the next HC can win the big one for us then great also. I think it is safe to say that we will have a solid core of players when he is gone if he doesn't extend his contract. I just hope he doesn't hold back the team that he is putting together with his stubbornness and egotism.

However, I do hope we win a Superbowl while he is here; not because I give a damn about his legacy but because it will be another trophy for the Cowboys just that much sooner. And I hope that he develops a solid franchise QB to lead the team that we are building. If he doesn’t do at least one of those two things before he is gone (win a Superbowl or develop a QB) then he is just another coach IMO. There’s the door…Next.

Amazing prophecy after seeing Bledsoe in 1 quarter of the pre-season...

Can you give me the winning lotto numbers for Saturday too??? :lmao: :star :lmao: :lmao:
