is a year away from winning.

BP coaches games not to blowout teams, but to wear them down by the 4th quarter. His coaching style produces nail bitting games. The problem with this is he doesn't have the special team at this time to win those kind of games on a consistent basis. BP needs a FG kicker that makes high percentage of Field Goals. Special teams that block punts, run back punts & also able to run back kickoffs. The Cowboys currently are not strong in either area. That is why they have lost close games this year.

This will be a high priority over the next few years.

i remember back when Dallas played "jimmy-ball"...

lotsa frontline players, starters, played on kick coverage teams.

but we ran thru a string of castoff kickers, too. not a primo in the bunch staring with eddie "money" murray.

i guess the castoffs kickers were just better back then. in fact... i'm sure of it.
