- The Indianapolis Colts administered a 41-10 dismantling of the New York Jets on Monday Night Football. Colts quarterback Andrew Luck was 22-of-28 for 278 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions.

- Five finalists for the 2016 Heisman Trophy were announced Monday. The group consists of quarterbacks Lamar Jackson of Louisville and Deshaun Watson of Clemson, linebacker Jabrill Peppers of Michigan, wide receiver Dede Westbrook of Oklahoma and quarterback Baker Mayfield of Oklahoma.

- According to Ben Volin of the Boston Globe, Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott leads all NFL players in Pro Bowl voting. Elliott is on pace for 2,142 yards from scrimmage, 17 total touchdowns and 37 receptions.

Justin Forsett Claimed Off Waivers by Broncos
- The Denver Broncos, who lost starting running back C.J. Anderson to a knee injury after Week 7, claimed running back Justin Forsett off waivers Monday. Forsett ran for 1,266 yards in the 2014 season, but he has only managed 777 yards in the last two years combined.
