The Dallas Cowboys meet the San Diego Chargers for just the ninth time in the history of the series. The Cowboys enter the Week 4 contest with a record of 2-1 while the Chargers are desperate for a win at 1-2. Dallas has a record of 4-1 when on the road against the Chargers.

It is the first meeting for head coaches Jason Garrett of Dallas and Mike McCoy of San Diego. It's just the second head-to-head matchup between Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo and Chargers counterpart Philip Rivers, the latter being victorious in 2009 at the venue formerly known as Cowboys Stadium.

Dallas will wear its navy blue jerseys for the only time this season, a look in which they are 10-10 since 2002, according to The Landry Hat. Better is the fact that Romo is 7-3 when wearing the rare “road blues.”
