The Dallas Police Department reportedly may suspend the investigation into Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott following an alleged altercation at a nightclub on Sunday.

WFAA's Rebecca Lopez reported authorities are having trouble finding the victim or cooperating witnesses from the scene:

Mike Fisher of 105.3 The Fan in Dallas reported Elliott was allegedly involved in an assault at Clutch Bar in Dallas. NFL Network's Tom Pelissero shared a statement from Dallas police, who confirmed they were investigating a "disturbance [that] involved a 30-year-old male victim who stated he had been physically assaulted." The department added that it hadn't made any arrests, nor did it have any suspects.

On Tuesday, TMZ Sports obtained footage from Clutch Bar purportedly showing the victim (warning: footage may be considered graphic):

An eyewitness told TMZ Sports that Elliott allegedly punched the victim after the two got into an argument.

The NFL is still investigating an alleged domestic dispute involving Elliott that occurred in July 2016, though, prosecutors in Columbus, Ohio, declined to pursue criminal charges in that case last September. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported the league could potentially suspend Elliott for one or two games.
