Former USC Trojans and New York Jets running back Joe McKnight was shot to death Thursday in Terrytown, Louisiana, following an argument at an intersection, according to the Times-Picayune's Jonathan Bullington.

Family members reportedly identified McKnight after arriving at the scene. He was 28 years old.

According to Bullington, a witness said the shooter—who has not been identified—approached McKnight and said, "I told you, don't you **** with me."

It's almost as if the shooter wants to go to jail.
It sounded like after shooting Knight (I assume out of road-rage, but who knows) he just sat down by the car and waited for the cops to get there.

While I'm holding off judgement, this sounds odd.

WVUE reported that multiple witnesses saw a man in an Infiniti sedan pulled McKnight, 28, from his Audi and shot him multiple times after an argument. One witness told a local paper that she saw the victim lying in the street and heard the shooter yell, "I told you don't f--- with me."

Tragic. I remember him from the 2 a days high school football show on MTV.

actually, I may have misspoke in that an investigation is still on-going so charges could still be pressed

Good, I don't see how they could come up with a conclusion that quickly and even if they did, they should probably take their time releasing the final decision given the optics and current environment we're in.

Guess what? This same guy, Gasser, had a similar incident 10 years ago at this VERY SAME INTERSECTION. He got pissed off at somebody, followed them, only that time he got out of the car and assaulted them.

He was charged but wasn't convicted.

Stupid idiots are trying to make it sound like this was self defense & appealing to the LA 'Stand Your Ground' law, but if you FOLLOW somebody in your car and start a confrontation with them, you are an aggressor and the Stand Your Ground' law does not apply.

I would like to get bullet proof windows and armored plates in any other vulnerable areas of my vehicle.

Then I could be a dick to anyone without have to worry about getting shot.

Play loud rap music and I'll just run you off the road. Then when you shoot at me, I'll just video you and your car's license plate, then call 911. You'll then be in prison wishing that you had never owned sound system.

Also, if you proclaim Wentz the greatest and call Dak a scrub, I'll run you off the road also, although it probably won't happen because I won't be driving around Philly.

Note: "you" does not refer to yimyammer.
