According to Yahoo Sports' Charles Robinson, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones released a statement Friday evening explaining the team did not have access to the photos published in the ******** piece but noted "we were and are aware of the serious nature of this incident."
Jones added that Hardy "is a member of our team and someone who is grateful for the opportunity he has been given to move forward with his life and career" after signing a one-year, $11.3 million deal to help Dallas' pass rush.
After Hardy's public apology, his four-game suspension and Jones' statement, the Cowboys will be moving forward with the 27-year-old as a key member of their defensive line.
Hardy and the Cowboys will attempt to snap a five-game losing streak Sunday night at home against the Philadelphia Eagles in a pivotal NFC East showdown.
