Greg Hardy's turbulent stint with the Dallas Cowboys reportedly encountered another speed bump when the embattled defensive end missed a team meeting.

According to the Dallas Morning News' David Moore, Hardy wasn't present at a meeting last Thursday and was subsequently fined.

"I don't want to get into any specifics about a player and him being late or missing things," head coach Jason Garrett said Monday, according to ESPN.com's Todd Archer. "Suffice it to say that we have standards here with the Cowboys, that if a player were to miss something or be late for something, we address it in-house, and we address it the right way."

The news of Hardy's fine comes on the heels of another controversial weekend. As the Cowboys suffered their seventh straight loss in heartbreaking fashion against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, Hardy was reportedly involved in a sideline altercation with fellow defensive lineman DeMarcus Lawrence, according the Dallas Morning News' Kristi Scales (h/t CBS Radio's Troy Hughes).

Weeks earlier, Hardy was involved in heated sideline exchanges with wide receiver Dez Bryant and special teams coordinator Rich Bisaccia.

Hardy's track record since arriving in Dallas has been checkered with blemishes regarding his off-field behavior and fit in the team's locker room, and those unwelcome distractions have seemingly piled up as the team has been mired in on-field struggles.

But with quarterback Tony Romo slated to return Sunday against the Miami Dolphins, according to ESPN.com's Ed Werder, the Cowboys have a chance to try to right the ship in the face of adversity.
