According to Clarence Hill of the Star-Telegram, the superstar wideout began yelling at media members, with most of his anger being directed toward ESPN.com's Jean-Jacques Taylor. Bryant accused Taylor of using a racial slur toward teammate Devin Street, although the claim hasn't been confirmed.
Robert Klemko of MMQB.com tweeted a recap of the situation in question:
Per Pro Football Talk, Garrett said Friday that Bryant was in the wrong for the manner in which he acted:
While the Cowboys seem to appear in controversial headlines more than most teams, Garrett suggested that such incidents are actually few and far between among his players:
According to Hill, Garrett told the media that he spoke with Bryant about the incident. Garrett also said that Bryant should have walked away rather than engaging, per Charean Williams of the Star-Telegram.
In addition to Bryant's tirade, he also posted tweets explaining the reasoning behind his actions:
This isn't the first time that the two-time Pro Bowler has gotten heated this season. He also strongly denied taunting injured Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Ricardo Lockette a couple weeks ago after a media member accused him of doing so.
He also got involved in a sideline shouting match with teammate Greg Hardy during a loss to the New York Giants.
The 2015 season is quickly spiraling out of control for the 2-6 Cowboys, and that has led to plenty of frustration among the players.
