Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers with a chest injury.

Witten Questionable vs. Packers
Friday, Oct. 14
Witten has been a full participant in practice this week, so he is expected to play. The veteran has recorded 24 receptions for 232 yards in Dallas' 4-1 start.
Witten has displayed impressive durability over his 13-year career. Between 2003 and 2015, he missed only one game.
While his health hasn't been a serious problem over the last few seasons, Witten's performance is clearly declining. His last 1,000-yard receiving season was in 2012, and he averaged a career-low 9.3 yards per reception in 2015. (He's at 9.7 yards per reception this season.)
At 34, Witten is still a dependable target, but his days as an elite NFL tight end are gone. Football Outsiders ranks him 19th at his position in DYAR (defense-adjusted yards over replacement).
The trouble for the Cowboys is that they don't have another tight end with anywhere near the track record of Witten. Gavin Escobar and Geoff Swaim combined have just 30 receptions for 353 yards in their NFL careers.
Dallas' receiving corps, namely Cole Beasley and Terrance Williams, will have to pick up a lot of the slack if Witten misses Sunday's game.
