It doesn't appear as though Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is going to lose his starting job anytime soon.

Prescott, who took over for an injured Tony Romo (back) at the start of the season, helped the Cowboys improve to 8-1 with a dramatic 35-30 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. After the game, owner Jerry Jones discussed the quarterback battle, per Brandon George of the Dallas Morning News:

Romo was inactive for Sunday's game, as he has been all season, but Clay Williams of CBS 4 reported the veteran will be active next week in a backup role.

Prescott finished Sunday's game with 319 passing yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions.

More to follow.
