McClain Remained in Alabama to Rehab Knee
Wednesday, May 27
Charean Williams of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram has more on McClain:
McClain was excellent for the Cowboys last year after taking a season away from the NFL, finishing with 81 tackles, two interceptions, a sack and a forced fumble in 13 games. The Cowboys rewarded him by signing him to an incentive-laden one-year contract that could earn him up to $3 million this season.
It's clear the Cowboys consider him an important part of the defense and want to see him thrive in Dallas after a rocky start to his NFL career, so the hope will be that his rehab from knee surgery goes smoothly and he is fully recovered shortly.
