News: BR: Video of Alleged Ezekiel Elliott Fight Aftermath Shows Beaten Man Unable to Walk

A new video has surfaced from the alleged bar incident involving Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott that shows a man beaten and bloodied on the floor.

TMZ Sports obtained the footage from the Clutch Bar (warning: footage may be considered graphic):

TMZ's report also notes the witness who recorded the video said they saw "Elliott and the man arguing, and then saw Zeke punch the guy in the nose."

The Dallas Police Department confirmed Monday it was investigating an alleged assault that occurred on Sunday night, but no one had been arrested or any suspects listed, via NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Elliott's camp said no complaint was filed.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on July 14 Elliott could be facing "a one- or two-game suspension" stemming from a 2016 domestic violence accusation made against him.

I think if there was video of Zeke throwing the punch then we would have heard about it by now. People think every inch of a place is covered by cameras and that is WRONG. Depending on the layout of the building, lighting, what kind of crowd there was at the time and so on, there is a very good chance there IS NO VIDEO of the actual punch. And if that is the case then with all the contradictory accounts that have come out there is little chance of anything LEGAL happening. Now the NFL on the other hand...

Unless you agree with the conspiracy types that Video is not all that valuable because of the limited number who would actually pay money for it. And like anything else it has a shelf life; and that time is running out fast. So if it was out there by now there would be at least rumors or something like that. I would give it about 24 more hours and if there is no hint of one it does not exist. This will not draw out for weeks like the fabled Dez video BS.

Adam Schefter clarified on the Mike and Mike show yesterday that he didn't say Elliott faces a "one- or two-game suspension." He said that Elliott's people say this is what they expect.

He was adamant in his clarification.

Not necessarily. It can be easily argued that Zeke should have let security handle the matter. It doesn't appear to be a life-threatening situation so why the need to retaliate, if this is indeed what happened?

Of course, we're all speculating. And, yes, it's very difficult to rein in your emotions. But, sometimes, you have to do just that.

I umpire. One game, I had a guy bigger than I get in my face. I had to throw him out of the game, but he didn't want to leave. He stepped to me as if he was going to hit me. I also know karate (used to fight competitively). Because he was bigger than I, the thought crossed my mind, "If he touches me, I'm going to knife him across the neck." But if I would have done that, I likely would have killed him because I would have had to hit him with enough force to put him down for certain. (I don't have time to scrap with a bigger man. I won't take those chances.)
But in a split second, I think of the consequences ... "I'm an umpire. I have more responsibility to set the right example and not fly off the cuff. What if I hurt him? What if I kill him? Am I going to have to fight off the crowd? Are they going to blame me because I represent authority? Does someone with him have a gun? Do I want the hassle of having to explain to the cops? Do I want to go throw the hassle of court procedures? etc."

I'm serious. All those thoughts were crossing my mind in a split second. And that caused me not to act.

Fortunately, the guy didn't do anything and, finally, left the field.

So I'm not just blowing smoke. You must condition yourself to make the right choice. It's difficult to override your emotions, but it can be done when you consider the alternatives.

Depends on how early that conditioning began. Some got a headstart due to good parenting - or maybe I should say because their parents made it an emphasis - and some learn later in life.

I'm not dismissing the fact that young people can be more reckless than older people. But Zeke has more to lose because of who he is. I tell my son - who is playing football in college and aspires to play in the NFL this all the time.
