I agree with Nate. You really need at least 3 good pass rushers at OLB in a 34 defense. Then when you get into the Nickel/Dime situations all three of them should always be on the field so the opposing offense has to look for pressure from every angle.

They also show the big block from MBIII the other day.

I dunno, the Patriots have been very good at sacking the QB over the years and have usually done it with just 2 productive pass rushers and then that frees up a bunch of others to get a share of the sacks. Last year the team finished 3rd in sacks and 5th in pass attempts per sack, yet they really only had 2 good pass rushers in Ware and Ellis. I think it's more important to have 3 pass rushers in a 4-3 because most of the time the sacks in the 4-3 come from the D-Line whereas in the 3-4 they can come from the D-Line, LB's and safeties.
