His ego won't let him be a backup.

You room with him?
How does someone make a statement like that?
You must pal around with him and he must tell you about his inner-self.
Never have heard a whit about 'his ego.'
NEXT!!!

How about Wade Wilson as a backup? Aren't they both around the same age?

At least Brad Johnson is or has been a good qb. Wade was always terrible. :laugh2:

It looks like the Vikings will release him. I think he fits the backup-QB-with-experience profile fairly well and can play in a pinch.

Go Cowboys~

He'd be one of the best backups in the league ... period.

I'd have no problem whatsoever with Brad Johnson as our backup QB.

Here's another name to toss in the mix...Patrick Ramsey. Looks like he will be released this week as well.

Who's next Heath Shuler or Mark Ripien? :D

Brad Johnson would fit the ideal profile for a team's QBs.

A starter in his prime.
A grizzled vet backup.
A youngster in training.

No, with mental tendrils that extend into the future allowing prescient thought...
