Bradford out for season (torn acl)

That sucks for them, feel bad for the guy. should have addressed it with their 15 draft pics from the skins. was never impressed with him anyway.
i forget if they have real football men in charge or not.

They've been one of the best drafting teams in the league lately.
But I agree, hard to believe they didn't at least take a guy like Metzenberger this year in the later rounds

I was saying they should move on from Bradford if he can't stay healthy BEFORE this season started. Now he's injured for the year so it's definitely time to move on. And it's a shame because the Rams are freaking stacked. I honestly think they're a top 3 team if you don't count QB. I agree they should trade for Cousins or Mallett. That team is good enough to win now. Why wait on a QB who might not even be that good?

Now that camp is almost over and Bradford is out, I figure Orton is probably calling Fisher every day:mad:

I could just see Lil Snyderbrenner with a huge grin calling Fisher and offering Cousins for a 1st and 3rd.

if minny is smart, they ship the rams matt cassel and make out like bandits since they have bridgewater

This is good news for Dallas. Bradford has really disappointed as a pro. I thought he would be a lot better. I have been worried about the rams game in game number 2. Dallas has had two of their best games against the rams the past few years in Dallas. It is one of the few times, the cowboys looked like a juggernaut on both sides of the ball. I expect to walk into a hornets nest for that game in St. Louis.

Again Bradford has not proven to be very good, but it is really touh to lose your starter this late in preseason. Especially as they have a journeyman behind him.

This is what happens you draft players made of glass. Not to mention he's just a product of OU's system. He was never an NFL starting caliber QB.

This was actually the first year they could actually afford to cut him, too.

He was the last #1 pick under the old rookie pay scale and St. Louis has been burdened with his contract since they drafted him.

They picked the wrong year to pick #1 and Carolina had the good fortune of picking #1 the following year and signed Cam for $56M less that Bradford did. Even with the difference in length of deal, that's just insane.

They had the misfortune of having to carry that contract, Bradford has really handcuffed what they could do and they were essentially stuck with him. I don't think he's a terrible QB as much as I think he just can't stay healthy and it's killed his chance to develop.
