I hereby declare that Bradie James possesses the greatness... Man, was I wrong about him last year...

James has become a force ...... This new aggressive scheme fits him well.

Here's to taking Bradie out on 3rd downs (and dropping 20 pounds)!

He did very nice job on some screens that Philly was trying to run.

Here is to Bradie shadowing Westbrook make making him pretty much ineffective yesterday!

Westbrook ended up with something like 150+ total yards, but most came in garbage time.

It's amazing what someone can do when they are playing there natural weight!

He is playing quite beastly this year. I see a pro bowl for him this year if he keeps doing what he is doing.

Well, he wasn't really ineffective. In fact, he was pretty effective. He was their sole bright spot on the team.

True but he did not get going until late in the game. at one point he had 4 catches for 0 yards. Once Dallas built the lead we were more willing to give up the short pass than allowing Philly to hit us deep

No, James and the D were pretty effective.

When the Cowboys went up 35-10 in the third (and more or less ended the game), Westbrook had 51 yards on 12 carries and 5 yards on 5 catches.

Westbrook got almost all of his yards in garbage time, a point at which I'm not sure James was even playing.

He had close to 80 yards and TD through the 3rd quarter. I understand that last quarter was "garbage time" but it's not like he wouldn't have eclipsed 100 total yards had it not been garbage time.

James is finally becoming the player we all thought he would be when we drafted him in the 2003 draft. Spears is another one who looked very active last night. It's about time these two shake the bust status around here.

I was flat-out amazed watching him run step for step with LJ Smith down the seam. AMAZED.

Huge blunder making a guy like him put on all that extra weight. The guy is back and better than ever.

Your not wrong in thinking that James had to play better than he did last season.

Let me reword it. He was a non-factor. He was kept in check enough that he didn't hurt the Cowboys. The scoring done by the Eagles was due to Reeves getting burned, garbage time scoring, and the blown coverage on LJ Smith.

One thing I've noticed though is on 3rd and 4th downs, the Cowboys really backoff on the pass rush it seems. The Eagles were 3-3 on 4th down. Thats just plain stupid. The Cowboys MUST up the pressure. They just aren't getting the pressure they should and will be exposed (have been exposed) by good QBs and good receivers.

I'm thinking that it is the interior line... Ware can't do everything, and offenses can just move the QB away from the pressure... Tank has got to be a huge addition for this team, if not just for his explosiveness and hitting the gaps in the middle quickly...

I'll gladly eat crow, I thought he should have been gone after last year.
Losing that weight has be a big help for him.
