Brady James is not bad in pass coverage. He has made some plays in the passing games since we have had him. He catches alot of grief on this board but has really been solid for us for a few years.

Brady James may be good in pass coverage, but Bradie James is a liability out there in pass coverage. He did play well in every other facet of the game today though.

Exactly. Today's game is not indicative of James' play in coverage. He actually made a few plays. He was still beaten on several occasions, but at least he made some plays to make up for it.

The people saying that Bradie's critic's don't have a 'football' mind are picking an awfully convenient time to do so.

That being said....Go Bradie! You were great today.

He was an absolute BEAST today. At one point in the third quarter he had 10 tackles, 2 sacks, a forced fumble, and a pass defenced (at least one). Not sure what his final stats were but that was an All-Pro performance today from Bradie.

We've mixed in his OLB skills recently.

In college he was a much better outside backer than an inside backer.

The last 3 weeks or so we've let him do a lot of things that are asked out of a outside backer.

Hes playing at a high level right now.

It's a shame people cant objectively watch games and appreciate how good he is because they're blinded by years of internet messageboard groupthink and suggestion.

I definitely like what they have done with him and the defense the last few weeks. Seems that Wade is really having more of a say with the defense, definitely visible calling the plays. Who knows, maybe all these new coaches needed some time to gel along with the players.

There are plenty of people capable of looking at his play objectively. There are several objective posts in this thread, actually.

He's a good player, and has been extremely productive for us....but if you think he's good in coverage, then you're the one failing to be objective.

Bradie James has played some great games this year. He is a good football player.

If Bradie keeps playing like this, his status as a team leader will be that much more enhanced. I know the 'hawks stink, but this game was a great confidence builder for the defense going into December.
