I have NO IDEA why we have so many LBers on the field when teams are in the 2 min offense. We REALLY blew it not keeping Burnett.

He's solid. Not good. Not terrible.

We just need more speed at the ILB position in general. As it stands now, all the guys we have playing that position lack footspeed/acceleration and the ability to explode in short areas. And please dont give me that crap about Carpenter's supposed athleticism.

Hopefully Jason Williams will crack the rotation at some point this year because he has that speed

Dunno, he was listed as having started all 3 games in SD, lead the team in tackles this week and had a sack. Maybe he's not starting material on our vaunted defense though.

Agreed. I liked Burnett's explosiveness when he wasn't injured.

Plus he is injury prone.

You know...I just posted in another thread that I wish people would sometimes sit back and enjoy the ride. I do want crave wish hope beg that we win a Super Bowl. Bottom line I love the Cowboys and relish the moments I get to watch them.

Last night I watched the game with my 11 year old son and my Dad who came to visit from out of town. 3 generations of Cowboys fans enjoying the GAME. Some people are taking all the fun out of football.

I like Bradie. I think his great season last year was a product of ware/ellis/ratliff but it's something that can easily be duplicated this year once our defense gets rolling. He's a great role guy but when your defense isn't playing well don't expect the ILB to be some huge stud, especially in a 3/4.

That being said, I think JWill will be a better ILB :laugh2:

You can't let facts like that get in the way Yeager. All they care about is that he left so it's on us not him. Facts just cloud that for some.

Besides the 25 yard catch he gave up to Rosario, he didn't play horrible.
