I would add LB, OL to the list behind the two you just mentioned. Although if Irving and Lawrence ball like madmen the rest of the year...we have Taco, Tapper, and Moore behind them... would we need or have room for another DE? Unless we go after a truly elite talent like Landry or someone...might be a waste of a pick. We will have to cut someone to make room. Pending our DEs work out and we don't desperately need one, I might be amenable to the DT from Washington whom I've seen mocked to us. Would be an upgrade over Paea and next to Collins no one will run on us and no QB would ever step up into the pocket again ha!
IMO if there is an elite FS like Hooker was last draft, I would go after him and move Jones to spot nickel duty.
I think we still have a need for that true edge rusher, a player with the speed and bend to stress offenses. Landry would be ideal but probably out of our range. There are other guys this draft I would consider:
Arden Key 6-6/240 LSU - will go high and there are character concerns
Harold Landry 6-3/250 Boston College - Will invoke the dreaded 3-4 OLB only conversation. Just shut up and let him rush the passer.
Clelin Ferrell 6-5/265 Clemson - My favorite 2018 prospect
Sam Hubbard 6-5/265 Ohio State - love this kid
Austin Bryant 6-5/265 Clemson - Clemson line is loaded but he's really stepped up so far this year.
Bradley Chubb 6-4/275 NC State - see two posts above
Porter Gustin 6-5/260 USC - Kid seems to get bigger every year. Can't believe he's up to 260.
Josh Sweat 6-5/250 Florida State - Athletic kid, barely scratched the surface
Tyquan Lewis 6-4/265 Ohio State - I'm not as big on him but seems like a Marinelli guy
Dorance Armstrong, Jr. 6-4/246 Kansas - Bit of a sleeper, plays on a bad Kansas team
Duke Ejiofor 6-4/270 Wake Forest - Hard-worker
