Bradshaw just said on The Ticket with Norm...

Well, as much as we hate to admit it, Bradshaw does have a very good perspective on playing the 70's Cowboys. I do think Wright should get in this year. When was the last year 2 Cowboys made it into the HOF, has it ever happened?

Tom Landry and Randy White in 1988.

Dang, I like Terry a little better today, but, I will get over it by tomorrow!

Bradshaw is making a business decision. He knows that his schtick only plays with hicks. So he's gotta kiss up to the Dallas fans.

I was told he said basically the same thing on DC radio this morning, except there he explained that the nickname "Americas Team" and Tex' marketing hacked off alot of reporters

that there is definitely a discrimination against Dallas in the HOF.

He said there is no excuse for more Cowboys not being in from those 70's teams. He said that for some reason, and he doesn't know why, that the voters ignore the players, the teams and their great accomplishments...

I've actually heard him say stuff like that before. He once said that the Cowboys of the 70's- early 80's were perhaps the best team(s) he had ever played against. He should know from the SB match-ups. Also said that he considered Staubach on e of the smartest people he knew both on and off the field. In that same piece (I can't for the life of me remember where I saw it...and it was SEVERAL years ago) he said that he thought Randy White was perhaps the best DT to EVER play. Apparently he has quite a respect for him.

Hostile,

Landry went in the HOF in 1990.

Randy White and Tony Dorsett went in the HOF in 1994 with Mel Renfro going in in 1996.

You are right. I looked at last year with the team. Hall of Fame was the next column. 1988 was their last years with the team.

Thanks.

No problem. I am sure you will correct me when I err.

He did live here, his house burnt to the ground if I recall correctly a few weeks ago because of some of these grass fires..

Then how do you explain the omission of Rayfield Wright, Cliff Harris, Lee Roy Jordan, Bob Hayes, Drew Pearson, etc? Those guys all deserve to go in.

Bradshaw was on Tony Kornheiser's show in DC this morning absolutely ripping the Cowboys organization, players and espescially the fans. Called them the biggest whiners in sports. He said the fans "were the most insufferable in the league." Said he used to live in Dallas but could not deal with the fans so he moved to Oklahoma. I'm sure audio can be found somewhere on the net.

Terry sure knows how to play to an audience.

Bradshaw couldn't spell 'dog' if you spotted him the 'd' and the 'g.'

Wasn't that Hollywood Henderson who once made that statement before a Steeler/Cowboys super bowl game? He may have used the word "cat" instead of dog.......damn, he was an arrogant devil, wasn't he!;)
