in the first half he was 13/18 (72%) for 157 yards and 1 TD

that's pretty good. you have to admit.

after the punt return we went into cruise control. and performance dropped.

do I want to see the performance continue? yes. but I think the whole team went on cruise control including play calling and defense as well.

Okay. I work for a sports media network that covers the NFL. The NFL sends our company that info before each season for promotional purposes.

The only thing that matters about last year was what Tom said in the game broadcast… the biggest problem with Dak has been he can’t win big games. Or was that before he somehow became a broadcast genius and doesn’t count?

Dak was average to below in every stat Sunday. No stats from previous seasons change that.

We didn’t win a Super Bowl and were one and done last year. But gold star for effort on the copy / paste stats. Do you keep them in a notepad doc for quick retrieval? Or memorized?

The old saying, work smarter not harder, is a thing. This thread was about how Dak performed Sunday … I didn’t need to invest any more effort than watching the game and having a gander to see where his stat line landed, to understand that he played below average. Brady kindly omitted that, as any newb announcer looking to get off on the right foot would, doesn’t mean it was the whole story.

This is one off the funniest things about the Dak stans …y’all do soooooo much unnecessary work pulling irrelevant stats to prop up the position you’ve dug your heels in on, when the majority can see things for what they are with Dak. Then y’all act like you’re some sort of superior fan or football brain bc you choose to waste energy writing things in a notepad to defend Dak on an internet message board. Say that out loud, twice. All that work and Dak’s stats still the same bottom half the league stats for Sunday.

Newsflash I played QB through college, I understand what I see, no need to write meaningless stats from last season in a notepad. #20 in completion % is terrible for the highest paid NFL player in history. Carry on excusing mediocrity.

What was so impressive about Dak's performance? Does anyone here REALLY think the guy will deliver a Super Bowl win? I don't.

That's because there has never been a player in NFL history who has ever delivered a Superbowl. Teams do. This isn't boxing, golf or tennis.

There's multiple coaches on staff, 53 active players and 3 units. Offense, defense and special teams. Teams deliver championships not one player in a team sport.
