Brady made a good comment, about teams needing to just move forward

Terrible and predictable scheme, poor route concepts, poor individual effort to create separation (besides CeeDee), no juice from RB's, way too often does this team settle for checkdowns and thn eventually field goals.

Fire anyone you are not married to and bring in coaches with modern offensive concepts and players with speed. Stop trying to go back in time and run 90s offenses.
So you are against bringing in a Bellicheck type? I fully agree about bringing in modern coaches, but I need a HC with clout who can convince Jerry/Stephen they have to change the way they team build. Scared that a young HC will become more of a puppet to them.

Clearly their lack of discipline has been an issue here for many years with multiple Head Coaches. The problem is the circus atmosphere that Jerry brings to the team. We need a no nonsense HC who is going to change the culture!

I wonder if there was any lack of discipline when Jerry decided to land his helicopter on the practice field???

Many drives are halting by negative plays, penalties/sacks/tackles behind the line of scrimmage. Successful offensive teams, are consistently in 3rd and three or less cause they move forward and avoid such plays. Very hard to consistently drive the ball when you are in 3rd and long's.

This pretty much describes the Cowboy Offense. You can make the argument that our defense never gets their opponent in third and longs as well, when do we ever see negative plays by the opposing offense?
I would not mind seeing Troy Aikman as the GM. He seems to be the only one who is not afraid to call out Jerry or afraid to cal it how he sees it.

He'd follow in line as well. I just need Jerry away from this team however it needs to happen. But until then it doesn't matter who we sign as a coach or a player this team will always be the same.

Also thinking LB's without DT's is going to fix our run D is absurd.
Well I think they knew that which is why they grabbed Philips and Joseph....they just foolishly thought they could fix it with mid 30 year olds...I can go down a list of how stupid this team is it really makes you wonder how they're 3-3. They should honestly be winless I get Giants, Browns and Steelers have their issues but with how poor the Cowboys are in some areas they should be embarrassed to being able to beat us when we can't run the football or stop the run. Should be rather easy on how to beat us.

Id' go as far as to say if you can't beat us you really need to question your coaching.

...I watched a little of KC/SF game yesterday. KC is just fun to watch. They run all sorts of different plays on offense.

Then you have a top tier QB. Defenses have hard time defending.

McCarthy's offense is stutterball in comparison. Moving forward is difficult if you cant look in the mirror.

I have made peace with Belichick as the likely next HC of the Cowboys. He changes the culture and he's one of the greatest defensive minds in football.

I would be most curious about 2 hires he makes.

  1. Who will his OC be? Josh McDaniels has always been his guy, but I do not think he relates to today's players at all, his offense doesn't impress me, and much like McCarthy, he's a finger pointer. No thanks.
  2. Who will he bring in to run the salary cap or at least serve as go-between himself and the Jones? In NFL circles, Stephen is considered to be one of, if not THE, worst in the league at this and Belichick knows this, so he's going to want to have some input there. He will concede the GM title and duties to Jerry, but if he allows Stephen to go unchecked in his current role, he's walking into a losing proposition.

I'm a harsh critic and I actually enjoyed listening to Brady call the Chiefs/9ers game.

Brady has stated the obvious. But if he said it in the broadcast booth I am sure he is worth every dollar.

I agree, have to nail those 2 hires for success
