Brady Quinn Done For Season..

Fox Sports' Jay Glazier reports Browns QB Brady Quinn is lost for the season after doctors determined that his broken finger has gotten worse since he tried to play through it.

He has also suffered damage to tendons in the finger, and Dr. James Andrews was concerned that the tendon would detach from the bone if Quinn continued to play. Derek Anderson will return to the starting role, but the Browns will miss out on a prime opportunity to evaluate Quinn's prospects. As it is, they will have to make a choice on Quinn vs. Anderson this offseason without much game-day data on Quinn.

Really?

I heard the good folks on ESPN Radio saying that Romeo Crennell benched the guy because Crennell is so desperate to keep his job. They stated that they felt his finger was fine and that he was not in the game because he had been benched. They called it one of the worst coaching moves of the year.

So in reality he was hurt.

I bet they won't even acknowledge they were wrong.

Well this flies in the face of those that questioned Romo's toughness for not playing with his broken pinkie...

What an idiot. Remember the *******es trottin' around here saying Romo should have played through his situation since Quinn could?

Please, do the right thing and ban yourself for a year if you argued for such.

Oh really? He hurt himself MORE by trying to play through it? Geez. Who'd have ever guessed that something like that would happen.

Sucks for Quinn. He'll get them next year though. I think he's shown he can be a good QB in this league and getting the full offseason as the starter will help him.

Why couldn't they suck last year?

No kidding. Though it would have been McFadden vs Felix and I still have no idea who the better pro will be.

Yes, its also clearly more proof our team docs and trainers dont know what they are doing.

Oh who is more manly now? Romo gets a finger injury yet he plays in a few weeks. Brady hurts his finger and hes out a year. ROMO IS A MAN!

I am glad Romo was smart enough to let it heal enough before playing. Anyone talking smack about Romo missing time please take this oppurtunity to slap yourselves

If either can stay healthy they will both be huge stars.

Exactly! I think Romo made the right decision by not risking further injury...
