When he was just four years old, Tom Brady attended the 1981 NFC Championship Game with his father. He was in the stands at Candlestick Park when Joe Montana found Dwight Clark for "The Catch" that sent the 49ers to the Super Bowl.

Yeah it stings... thought it was interesting

I watched the NFC championship game on tv in '81, cried when Clark caught "the catch" because I'm a 'Boys fan.

My life is pretty boring. What does that mean?

I was expecting something along the lines of both of them having beaten out Henson and Bledsoe for the starting QB position.....

Geez, between back patting and delusional posters, instead of being happy that we have a Young QB that might be good enough, its becoming annoying as hell.

I guess I should setup a club of Bledsoe doubters who have been saying from day one that Bledsoe would never do anyting great with Cowboys?

That's a pretty good connection right there. Although some say that Henson actually beat out Brady at Michigan.

My brother and I cried like babies after that game. It really, really, hurt. I don't think I ever cried like that again after a Cowboys loss.

Even though we have since gotten our revenge on the whiners, whenver I think about '81 I still feel slight pangs.

Most people who are not Cowboys fans can't understand the depth and passion that comes along with being a Cowboys fans. It's going through things like that, as well as some of our great wins, that makes it special being a Cowboy's fan.
