Romo, Dak, Aikman and Staubach are/were all great QB’s. You can throw Danny White in there as well. Morton and Meredith had their moments as well.
Aikman and Staubach are HOF QBs and are on a whole different level than Romo or Dak. Romo and Dak just racked up stats in regular season games and fell apart when when a chance for the playoffs were on the line or they actually made the playoffs. I will admit that Danny White is under appreciated and had his chance if it weren't for "The Catch". I can't comment too much on Morton or Meredith because they were before my time. Dak and Romo were/are very good QBs but I don't consider them great. In today's game great = Patrick Mahomes.

No, Mahomes = elite. Not too many of those.

dak is on a mission to get the most money he can get regardless of who its from
says every superstar in the league that is due up for a contract they want what they can get because they feel like they earned it if you're one of the top five guys at your position every one of them is doing the same damn thing regardless who they play for they want the most money they can get why not?

The call out just our guys as if the Dallas Cowboys are unique in a way where they have different players that are just all greedy and want the biggest contracts you might want to look around the league there's a reason guys like jamar chase and Justin Jefferson and Brandon aiuke and TUa etcetera and many more I'm not even gonna list are rejecting contracts right now behind closed doors and Lamb is not alone I mean you could blame the ownership all the time why is he signed already because there's three people involved there's the player the agent and then the ownership group it's called negotiations this happens.. Sometimes it's more complicated and takes more time and yet ohh this is Jerry Jones problem this is Dallas cowboy problem they never signed their guys early enough they wait too late you didn't realize that you don't know what's going on behind closed doors the hold up is all parties involved..

This goes so far back and so many examples I'm not gonna list them all but just think about what the alleviation bell Antonio Brown did to the Steelers they offered them competitive and very good contracts just like the Cowboys offered their players they rejected him and threatened to hold out and a couple of them did and they never got that money back if lamb holds out at $1 million a game is willing to lose that $17 million to play football this year that's on him because he believes he should get 38 million when A.J. Brown got 32 and right now this year tyreek hill is like making 19,000,000 in actual cash I mean most of the wide receivers in actual real money new money are making around $30 million maybe 32 why should he get 38 why he is not the best wide receiver in the NFL he's just one of them we just put him in the top five why can't he take top five money Trayvon diggs got signed pretty fast because he did take top four money he didn't need to be #1 and now he's 5 right now there's nothing wrong with that but these negotiations go both ways you can't just leave an open check and let a player have everything he demands so sometimes they take time...

So yes Prescott is going to try to get as much money as possible and there's nothing wrong with that but let's hope that he has some kind of team friendly obligation where he's not going to try to hold him up for 60 million and would take 53ish..that win for both sides

OTA MVP OF THE NFL. Extend him, Jerry!!
You can be jaded and sarcastic all you want,

but he was actually 2nd in MVP voting, leader in scoring last year, has more than one year where the offense was #1..

I mean I don't know what else you keep asking for the man's a top five quarterback in most years, at worse hes at 6-10 and just because he's not winning in the postseason that would be the entire team not stepping up! !
so that means not a single player on our team should get a new deal and anyone that got a new deal in the last couple years should be traded in your view..hmm
if we're not winning big games let's stop just putting it on the quarterback because when players are talking to a microphone because they're having it stuck in their face and one of his teammates says he looks great now you wanna be a sarcastic **** and just say that he's an OTA MVP??
no he played second team all pro and was nearly an MVP last year in my opinion he got robbed he should be the MVP just like Luka should have been the MVP of the regular season and they gave it to somebody else who yes was worthy but doesn't mean he should have got it.. it was clear Prescott should have got the MVP last year and if you're a hater and say no that's just because you're looking at it through a different set of glasses...
you're just putting all the failures of the postseason on the quarterback ,which is ridiculous the whole wins and losses thing is not on the quarterback or Prescott could just come out and say I've never been part of a losing season, bween to the payoffs 5 of 8 seaons, the man's touchdown interception ratio is sixth all time in the NFL all time ,not Dallas cowboy all time ,and he's about to break all the Dallas Cowboys passing records only going into his 9th year..
I mean so you say ohh OTA MVP well let's be real here the man actually has earned his contracts if you look at what the market value for a guy like him is in the NFL then he is deserving of it because most of the other quarterbacks are also all coming up short other than Tom Brady and Patrick mahomes why are all these other quarterbacks in the $50 million range but somehow Prescott can't be I mean that's what a true hater and a true troll does is come on here with a sarcastic reply as if he didn't earn a new deal already take this year and the offseason out of the equation but you can't have it both ways I mean don't people around here say garry's cheap they don't sign enough good players they don't pay people enough in free agency to come here and make the team better but then you blame the quarterback for the failures???

But is he pissed off or like really really pissed off this year? That's the question.
Exactly. Isn't he always on a mission to identify & correct previous mistakes? It's not like it's been a rare occurrence for him to say "I have to be better. I WILL be better". "Pour some honey on me"
