Brandon Aubrey 'absolutely' interested in signing extension

Booger-nomics offers one year prove it deal at 1.05mill....
These type of comments are no longer comical they're ridiculous you do realize that that's only free agency they literally overpaid so many players I would be sitting here it would take me about an hour to list them all they literally pay all their guys if they are homegrown Dallas Cowboys and they are a fan favorite they typically get paid the giant bag lot of times are overpaid Jerry overpays his stars...

I mean is that what they offered Prescott like 1,000,000 they offer him 10 million was it 25,000,000 was it 45,000,000 did they even try to offer him 55,000,000 which would be right around market top pay no they just handed him 60 million does that sound cheap does that sound like Jerry nomics no it does not that would be free agency that would be other people's free agents literally no one in here has a grip on reality because they just want to say things because they think it's popular just to RIP on the Jones family which it's the other side of the argument you're missing the actual truth and the fact is they will pay their guys they don't lowball their OWN on their own teams..

RELAX
Jerry will pay him.

Many of you are stuck on the Jerry is cheap myth.
We seen he is not cheap, just to some of the wrong players he is not cheap.
:hammer:... What is the biggest misconception here they literally may not pay big outside free agents but they tend to overpay at least pay market to all their own stars if their home grown Cowboys they get paid and somehow people around here forget that and they think they're funny they're comedians in here if they just say something about Jerry negative it'll become popular and they'll get a lot of likes and but in the end it's wrong they don't even have their facts straight..

I'm back to reality what is the top five highest paid kickers in the league So what will Aubrey demand that would be the question? Man, I remember when kickers used to be low pay that's some crazy salaries for a kicker nowadays.. inflation

  • Harrison Butker, Kansas City Chiefs: $25.6 million over four years, with an average annual salary of $6.4 million
  • Jake Elliott, Philadelphia Eagles: $24 million over four years, with an average annual salary of $6 million
  • Justin Tucker, Baltimore Ravens: $24 million over four years, with an average annual salary of $6 million
  • Matt Gay, Indianapolis Colts: $22.5 million over four years, with an average annual salary of $5.6 million
  • Cameron Dicker, Los Angeles Chargers: $22.04 million over four years, with an average annual salary of $5.51 million

There is not a kicker in the league I would take over him.

he is better at his position than any other player we have

better kicker than parsons is an edge rusher

better kicker than Tyler Smith is a guard

you forgot ... better K than Jerry is a GM.

It’s a no brainer to resign him, therefore I anticipate an unnecessarily long, arduous, confusing negotiation where our cap “genius” talks about how the salary cap is “a thing” and 7 Spags’ articles telling us why we can’t “have steak at every position”

Only to turn around and eventually resign him to a market setting deal for FG kickers

Man, kickers are like relief pitchers. They can lose it seemingly overnight, move to another team and eventually get back into a groove. I'd pay him more, but a shorter deal.

Dallas Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey has spent the last two seasons exceeding everyone's wildest expectations for him after he was signed out of the USFL back in 2023.

Aubrey is the NFL's leader in field goals (76), field goals from 50 yards or deeper (24) and field goals from 60 yards or deeper (three) since entering the NFL in 2023. Aubrey earned Pro Bowl and first-team All-Pro honors in 2023 after leading the league with 36 made field goals, a total that included an NFL record 35 in a row to start his career.

Entering the final season of his current contract in 2025 with $1.03 million salary, Aubrey is ready to talk with Dallas about a new deal. It's time for him to get paid.

"Yeah, absolutely," Aubrey said, via The Fort Worth Star-Telegram, on Tuesday when asked if he'd want to get a contract extension done this offseason. "I'm eligible for an extension so it's up to my agent to go up to the Cowboys and see if there's any interest in signing it there early. If an extension comes, then an extension comes. If not, I'm still making 10 times what I was making working code (prior to football), so I'm pretty happy."

Hell, he's more valuable to this organization than Prescott is. This dude is a scoring machine, whereas Prescott has turned into a huge weight around the neck of this organization............

Not many teams can say get the ball to the 45 and we can get the 3 pts

Atta boy!!

i think alot of fans need to come to grips with the fact this man will be on another team unless he takes a complete underpaying by everyones eyes....Jerry will not pay a kicker...he should..he wont..

They need to sign him. He's our only Redzone weapon. Jerry's gonna spend money on Aubrey and say that they've spent all their money lmao.

Not many teams can say the kicker is one of their top 5 players.
Top 5? How many points did Parsons have? Cee Dee? and the sad thing is we would absolutely would keep that "card" in our back pocket after getting across the 50 yd. line. Too much "settling" for FG.

has Jerry paid a kicker since Mike V? its like FA all over again "I did that once, it didnt work so we will never speak of it again"
