Brandon Aubrey is the best kicker this team has ever had, and this team has had some good ones. Dan Bailey, Chris Bonoil, Raphael Septien, and Efren Herrera were all excellent. Tony Fritsch was also excellent for his time. He had a knack for successful onsides kicks, though his range didn't compare to today's kickers.

Aubrey came to a team that already had a quality kicking tradition and made it even better. Mad props to Mr. Aubrey. I love having this man on the team.

Do I dare say, Danny White?

I'm not sure what you mean. Danny White was both a quarterback and a punter, but he never kicked field goals.
There was a thread the other day about defense, and I said, I wonder how many interceptions Caleb Downs will get in preseason from Dak Prescott,
You’d be surprised how many people gave me LIKE,
They just don’t pay attention

Bailey was better.
Well, that's because we have hindsight and whole career It's called consistency, that doent mean Aubrey won't get there but yeah that's a weird flex post this and people were going to say Bailey and be offended.

But when it's all said and done, he probably will be the best Bailey didn't have the range Aubrey has but aubrey has the accuracy and the short game as well..

time will tell..

Bailey was amazing, but he didn’t have the range that Aubrey has. But does anyone? We’re about to the point that with any decent kickoff return we are already in fg range without picking up one first down.
To me though I was more confident in Bailey. From 50 and under. Kicking 70 yarders is a luxury but IMO not necessary.

I understand why you would say that as a fan defending allegedly best kicker all time It's actual I understand but do tou understand, Almost all of the kicks missed by Aubrey have been 50 plus you know he's great from 50 plus he almost never misses from under 50 especially under 40 I think the 100%...

Only remember one bad game since he's been here and that was like at Washington and that field and it caused a lot of problems for people it's like they kept grass LONG on purpose...

This one to confirm if just take last year which is the only year you can really look at it clearly he didn't miss a single kick on 50 all six of his kicks were oh fifty and most of them were really over 55 that is the Cowboys off for wrecking this guy percentage by rolling him out there to kick was 55 plus field goal which it covered 60..

Kind of hard to judge I only missed 6 kicks last year four of them are from 56 and over I mean seriously this is the coaching staff once again taking too many long kicks, this just proves it and he missed one extra point last year and it was on that grass in Washington he doesn't like that mastic keep it weird and long...
  • 68 yards (vs. Arizona Cardinals)
  • 59 yards (vs. Minnesota Vikings)
  • 58 yards (vs. Washington Commanders)
  • 57 yards (vs. Minnesota Vikings)
  • 51 yards (vs. Minnesota Vikings)
  • 51 yards (vs. Washington Commanders

Just about a month ago half the board was hoping he would be gone.
Can't the brother just have an "off" year? ( not directed at you) rhetorical.

His "off" year was still ranked 4th in the NFL last season.

The one thing that is true is that for the overwhelming percentage of kickers, the psyche is extremely fragile......nobody knows what the next kick, quarter, game or season will bring with them so investing heavily is fraught with risk
