Brandon Aubrey's Missed Extra Point

He's got the yips.

But let's also not lose sight of the fact Williams getting a taunting penalty in that spot is about as dumb as it gets.

This team needs 1 leader, one respected guy on the sidelines they answer to. One battle cry, one way to play. We don't have that. We have cliques, factions, and branding platforms. Our local team media is the same. We are a diseased franchise. The only cure is waiting it out, thus, cycling thru all the Jones kin til change is actually made. We all might be taking dirt naps by then lol

Oh I didn't forget. I was more shocked to see him do that. Uncharacteristic of him. It hurt us. Selfish.

To be fair, if Williams isn't a complete idiot and gets a taunting penalty, we wouldn't have had to kick a 48 yard extra point.

I posted this in another thread but felt it would be good to post as a standalone thread.

This one point is not why the Cowboys lost of course, but for some reason people seemed focused on it so ...

On the extra point attempt, the hold was not good ..

See the ball angle? That pushes the ball to the right.

Compare it to similar kicks of the same distance from other games by Aubrey ..

Wooh, Romos botched hold is finally off the hook.

Another chapter closed in the CZ

Yeah, that penalty was uncalled for even if they were up by multiple touchdowns, but especially with them behind at that point.
