How do people feel about him and Claiborne..
I think Carr had the best year out of all of our DB's by far.

How do you guys feel about MO and CARR?

Will be great when we improve pressure and saftey help

I like both and think Claiborne is going to be playing at a very high level sometime in the middle of next season.

I dont think he has enough quickness to garner 10 million a year. He gets beat over the middle too easily on crossing patterns and in zone coverage he isnt quick enough to make enough plays and break on the ball. he is strictly a press cover corner designed for man coverage.

I think we are set at CB's. Carr is much better than some realize and Mo was just a rookie and held is own against some good recievers. They were asked to cover for too long with a non existent pass rush....

Carr played well early, sorta played mediocre in the middle of the season, and came on great. Even though I feel like the Cowboys overpaid for him slightly, I think he is a great addition.

I'll be honest with Mo -- I never saw a single aspect of his game that made me think he was anything but an average CB this year. I know he is a rookie -- however, I guess I was hoping for more. He didn't see particularly fast, quick, aware, or physical.

I'm hoping that next year he fulfills what I believe his potential is.

I agree..
Should we keep scandrick?

I think so. He had a poor game against Atlanta, and he's been the target of a lot of criticism, but this season he was one of the better nickel DB's in the league in terms of passer rating against (before he got hurt, that is). Needs to learn how to catch the ball. Had 2 or 3 easy picksix's if he could have just caught the darn ball.

Anybody have the 'passing rating against' for Carr and Claiborne?

happy with both....think Carr is solid, but Mo is gonna be one of the best

He had tough moments at times early in the season, but I think he had a pretty solid season overall.. You really didn't see him attacked all that much to be honest. Please Jerry go after the guard Andy Levitre & maybe a pass rusher like Osi in the offseason & concentrate on the d-line & safety position in the draft & it would allow MO & Carr to play much more press, where they strive in that area with their physical play at the line of scrimmage, but with the bums they were on the field with this season they had to play in certain zones b/c there were so many holes on the defensive side of the ball.

I like Carr...Mo is a work in progress.
Wasn't worth trading up for imo.

Would like to see them used properly though. we saw very little man press this year.

I'm alot more worried about their backups and the lack of help they get from the front 7.

He's still in that phase where he's thinking too much. Be patient.

The defense's success begins with the ability to pressure the quarterback.

Even with solid CBs, if a QB has time to sit back and find a target, he will find a target.

I was one of BCarr's haters, but i've come around to liking him mainly because of his second half (of season) performance.

I think Mo and Carr are going to be an awesome set of corners for a long time. Wish we were as set at Safety...

Yea its amazing to me the perception Scandrick has with fellow Cowboy fans. I guess it was the Falcons game but he had a GREAT year. Hopefully the Cowboys see that and don't try to do anything silly.
