Brandon Carr, Sean Lee, the secondary & more.

I have to say it, I know it can be said at any other game thread, post-game thread, etc, but I think it deserves its own thread.

I know, I know, Sean Lee is special, very special, he may very well be the best linebacker the Cowboys have had for the past 20 years, and he may be in line to be a special kind of player, for now he is an elite all-pro at his position and I love him, his IQ and his hustle.

But for now, what about Brandon Carr? He is the best player in the defense game in and game out, he is in my opinion the most underrated and under appreciated defensive back in football and he is in the level of every great cornerback no doubt in my mind. He singlehandedly shut out Griffin today and enabled the Dline to get pressure on him by always being with his guy in great coverage, I can't wait to watch some film on him, but he played a special kind of game, I am very proud and he deserves the win as much as Harris, Lee and anybody else. Our secondary today was spectacular, and with that kind of effort and adjustments by Marinelli and Kiffin, we have to feel good going into Philly next week.

He's been shutting out teams' #1 receiver week in and week out. Love Carr.

Carr was worth every penny, and a guy like Sean Lee made a small play like preventing that touch down. That's the kind of things you need to win games consistently and can create huge point swings.

And just think, some posters were calling him a JAG in some posts leading up the game.

Carr was good to okay last season, but this year he is a bad mood!
I hope Claiborne can build on from here... don't look back season starts today for you.

1 game running, one game passing, one game both, one game special teams, this team is an overachiever very refreshing. Intensity on defense trumps a passive talented defense.

They are suppsoed to be playing like that. And I am happy they are. How about the real props?

Nevis, Wilbur, Hayden, Selvie, Raeford, Carter. Man those boys are digging deep and playing hard.

Man.. who was #70? I always saw him causing disruption in the middle of the line. I'm no expert, by any means, but I liked what I saw from him.

Drake Nevis. Former third-round pick who did not do well in the 3-4. I'm personally very high on him.

Nevis was out there quite some time, don't be surprised he starts next too Hatcher but then again it's all about rotating keeping them fresh.

I had my eye on that guy as well. He plays with some nasty down there in the trenches
