He did it last year vs. PHI, CIN, and PIT and had a huge pick 6 vs. NYG in week 1 this year.

And today, he had one of the biggest plays in the game with that INT in the endzone. There were passes completed on him, but I thought McGloin was just throwing some darts out there and Holmes/Streater were making amazing catches.

Hats off to #39 again.

Those passes completed on him were due to poor technique. He has to clean that up. Can't look like a 50 million dollar guy for one or two plays.

he needed 5 int's for me to overlook how he was getting torched and being out of position and not turning his head around

Most solid player on this team 2 years straight. Besides maybe Romo.

Andre Holmes was owning him in the 1st half , come on , that really hurts.

Some people expect these guys to be some sort of robot that never takes a bad angle or something. You win some you lose some. His int was important. If not for him its possibly a tie game on that series. What he makes is irrelevant, carr is the least of our problems at this point.

Glad I stayed out of that first half thread tonight. Carr had decent or tight coverage on almost every one of those completions that I saw. You can't really ask all that much more of a CB. What was weird, though was seeing those backup and second-rate WRs playing huge, high-pointing the ball like that, and catching those perfect back shoulder passes all night long. They were playing great football for a while there. And getting big chunks of yardage with very little time in the pocket, for the most part.

I thought Carr played fairly well. There are times when a perfect throw is just going to beat good coverage. You don't expect that combo out of Matt McGloin and Andre Holmes, but it can happen. Carr struggled with B-Marsh last year, hopefully he learned something from it.

If only he played the first half like the second half. I was not impressed.

I'd rather Carr have a bad first half than a bad second half. And frankly, some of those catches he gave up in the first half were almost undefendable...perfect passes from McGloin with amazing catches from Holmes.

Agree. He comes up with " the play" at crunch time more often than not.

Carr was in position on every play. Holmes made great plays that he won't make again. Case in point - second half today.

Part of being in position is knowing where the ball is. You cant make plays with your back to the QB

About time someone other than Dez on our team shows they can high point the football

The catches made on him were pretty good throws, I question some football IQ in here at times.
