Our offense started to take off based on several factors post SF one of them being Cooks' involvement. We're undefeated this season when he simply gets 22 yards or more. In all 5 losses he's put up 17 yards or less, three of which were 10 yards or less. We need more from Pollard but this team is built on our passing attack. CeeDee will get his but when Cooks is involved, it's clear that we become unstoppable.

Outside of Lamb and Fergs that’s all we really have

The offense will be fine. GB doesn't have a stellar defense. Can our defense stop the run and slow down Love?
If the offense is flowing, not really concerned with the defense. We play great defense at home with a lead. It means we're putting pressure on Love to score, making them one dimensional etc which plays into our hands.

I can edit the post but don't see how to edit the title?
I don't often start threads, but as long as the edit option is available, I'd think it would let you edit the title in the initial post.

Maybe it won't. If not, a mod will come to the rescue at some point.

Where is that graphic when you need it? The more catches Brandon Cooks gets, the better the record. Throw early, build that score up, and go downhill with the pass rush. No dumb picks Dak!

Easy squeezy. Throw him a pass for 23 yards on the first play and call it a win. Just kidding here :D

you know I know people aren't putting up big numbers down the line but that's not true turpin's made some big plays and the more they use them the more plays he can make I mean how many others did you think the 90s Cowboys had literally they most of their targets went to Michael Irvin then the Nova check then some went to Harper in the few scattered around and some other players when they weren't handing the ball off 60% of the time to Emmitt Smith but my point is there are only so many targets on a team in the 1st place I mean there's only so many snaps there's so many pass attempts that I mean how many players do you want to have big numbers?

That's the way most teams are set up you have three primary targets and you hope that they eat up most of the production that's just how it is...Lamb, Furgeson, cooks and Pollard all primary's all will eat the rest can sit at the kids take and get whatever's left..ie Turpin, tolbert, schoon, and dowdle...

Seriously.. this is a very interesting stat. In all five losses, he doesn't get involved. Get him going and everything else opens up. I also see Tolbert making a big play or two.

yeah that's how we think it works with stats people can make any stat fit a narrative like I think we're undefeated when we score 1st and I believe it's a touchdown so if we get on the board 1st preferably A touchdown I think we're undefeated this season... That's how important that 15 play drive that ended in a fumble in Miami pretty much cost us the game I mean imagine how much momentum we would have took and they would not have had had we scored a touchdown right there this team plays well with the lead our defense gets pumped up that stat is more believable than just simply trying to get cook a 20 yard pass..

And the best way to do this to allow the score to be your best run defender.
If I get you right you mean that if we get the score way out ahead they won't run the ball but I seen the bears last year didn't care looked like they ran it 49 times against us and if you remember also last year against this Packer team up 14 they didn't stop running the football literally didn't care they knew that's our Achilles heel and they did not want to get away from it and I believe between Jones and Dylan I know Jones offhand got close to 6 yards per carry they weren't gonna stop I mean 6 yards of carry they can run all day..

I'm glad this is a different year but I know the philosophy it's typically if you can get ahead you can get them out of the run but there are some teams that are willing to run all game against the Cowboys and it sometimes works they know this defense has a problem with that you know how fast it would be to wear our big guys out in our running around chasing guys all day and then all of a sudden then we get sucked down into the box and they hit us over the top that's what happened in last year's Green Bay game that we blew that 14 point lead in the fourth quarter they ran so much we got tired we brought more guys down then we got hit over the top on one-on-one man plays play action...
