Our offense started to take off based on several factors post SF one of them being Cooks' involvement. We're undefeated this season when he simply gets 22 yards or more. In all 5 losses he's put up 17 yards or less, three of which were 10 yards or less. We need more from Pollard but this team is built on our passing attack. CeeDee will get his but when Cooks is involved, it's clear that we become unstoppable.
I would utterly luv for Cooks to stamp his mark on the field with his great speed.
i assume those mere 22 yards is a coincidence.
I would believe it more so if it displayed Cooks TD game production.
to which Cooks has consecutive games with TDs - ala counter end zone TD catches.
I still tend to think we seem to be using Cooks as more of a possession WR ,.. instead of blinding speed WR he is.
Dak & Cooks seem on target rapport with that corner end zone route.. but Prescott is still having issues connecting with the speedy Cooks on over the top, deep fly/go route where's he's overthrowing him badly.
But there are other ways to get him schemed where he can make more splash chunk plays.
Shallow cross off rub route, .. jet sweeps... bubble screens
