Did anyone see the bowl game that he played in today? I think they were playing S.Florida. I saw that he threw for 3 TD with 2 int. Just wondering how he played. Thanks

I didn't see it but I'm ALL over him in the 3rd if he's there. He has been good every year he's started. He has just gotten better and better each year too.

What the win means for Western Kentucky:The Hilltoppers closed the most successful season in school history with another epic performance from quarterback Brandon Doughty in his final game. Doughty was off early in the game, but he quickly got into a rhythm and ended up throwing for 461 yards and three touchdown passes to set a school single-season record with 50 touchdown passes. Doughty also went over 5,000 yards passing for the season and set a new FBS record for two-year touchdown total with 97.

I wouldn't mind picking up Doughty in the 3rd round. The question will be if he is there? Another question will be the Cowboys stance on Kellen Moore.

Personally, I would still like to address defense with the 1st and 2nd round picks.

I think he is a 3rd rounder that could rise with a good Senior Bowl

Before this season he was rated as anywhere from 6th to UDFA. This season really boosted his draft stock. If he has a stellar combine, I wouldn't be surprised if he went in the 2nd or even late 1st.

I recorded the game and watched every WKU offensive series.....He struggled early, commentators attributed it to layoff between games.....in the late 1st half and into 2nd half he definitely looked alot better...Im no scout, but he seems to have a long release, thats my one red flag on him....Overall, Im a big Paxton Lynch fan, but I wouldnt cry if we went a different route in the 1st and wound up with somebody like Doughty in the 2nd, or even better 3rd, obviously........

Noticed that too. His throwing motion reminded me of someone but it isnt coming to me.
