Brandon Harris-CB returning?

According to ESPN Insider, Brandon Harris said on Tues. that there is an 85% chance that he will return for his SR. year. He likes what the new coach is doing but will send his name in to the NFL evaluators.

In other news, ESPN is reporting that 4 Ohio St. football players have to sit out the firts five games for next year and two of them are Pryor and Mike Adams, OT. Adams, I think is highly ranked Jr OT on many draft boards. There is specualtaion that these four might jump ship to the NFL along with Mike Brewster, C as Brewster might not want to be playing for team that will be losing 4 offense starters in the beginning of the year. Just FYI.

Brandon Harris: “85 percent” chance he’s coming back to UM

UM cornerback Brandon Harris said after Tuesday’s practice that there is an “85 percent” chance he’ll return next year for his senior season.

There is one caveat: Harris said he hasn’t heard back from the NFL yet regarding where he might be taken in the draft. If Harris gets a first-round evaluation from the NFL Draft Advisory Board, it’s difficult to see him returning.

Scouts Inc. ranks Harris as the draft’s 32nd-best prospect, right behind Arkansas quarterback Ryan Mallett and three spots behind Heisman Trophy-winner Cam Newton of Auburn. There are 32 selection in the first round.

Asked to put a percentage on likeliness he will return to UM, Harris responded: “About an 85 percent chance. I’m very high on this university, this football team. When I signed here I was fully committed to it. It’s not an option I’m ruling out at all. It’s an opportunity I have to think about and make a decision on. I’m real high on being here.”
