I thought that was Jenkins who was. But yeah brandon harris didn't look too good in the bowl game but if he was there in the second and we took a lineman in the first i would like him in a heart beat. Everyone has a bad game but the reciever was making great plays and was alot bigger than harris.

Harris has been the consensus 3 so far. That might change in the future to Jenkins but we'll see. The odd scout has Jenkins rated higher. And he won't be there in the 2nd. IMO...

Harris vs Jenkins is relative. It's all personal preference. Its about even right now depending on which scout you talk to.

But you stated Harris will go in the 3rd round. . Now that is funny. Just proved how clueless you were about prospects and the draft.

All the sites are updated, unlike the August 11th last updated link that you sent. Those are also the most visited and well respected draft sites, which are even posted AS A STICKY in the draft thread. They are also all scouts, who know more then you will EVER KNOW, so to say they are illinformed just shows how stupid you are. The links are the closest thing to evidence that you will ever find. Now YOU go find me a respected site that has Harris listed in the third.

On the outside, Hurricanes CB Brandon Harris has good size (5-10, 193) and top-end speed. He uses his hands well to jam receivers at the line and is fluid enough to turn his hips and run with receivers. His overall footwork is choppy at times, though, and Harris struggles to make sudden changes in direction. He's also still developing his instincts and awareness in terms of reading routes.

Harris is a willing tackler in run support but his angles are inconsistent, and against Notre Dame WR Michael Floyd it became clear that Harris has trouble playing the ball against bigger receivers. Harris carries a fringe first-round grade right now but I think he'll fall into the mid-to-late second by the time draft day rolls around.

Like I said, when all it's said and done, and all the warts are exposed, and all the films are broken down, Brandon Harris will be a 3rd round pick. Maybe late 2nd at the earliest depending on who's willing to reach for him and have the patience to wait for his development.

He was NEVER a " consensus 3 " battling with the top 2 CBs prospects throught the year. That was a STUPID thing to say or even imply.

Harris will need to work on his man coverage to be very good. Kind of reminds me of Asante Samuel a little bit - does really well sitting in zones and reading the QB.

I think he'd be a great pickup. He'd be better than Scandrick was coming out.

Peterson and Amukamara are not the end all/be all at CB in this draft. There are other options, and there will, in my opinion, be better players coming out next year in Janoris Jenkins and possibly Jayron Hosley from VT. He's a sophomore and had 9 interceptions in 13 games this year.
