A lot of folks see Ingram as an elite talent. I'm not so convinced. Some project a comp of him developed into a Kevin Durant type player, which we could safely say is his ceiling. However, I see his floor as being more of a Donyell Marshall type SF/PF.

What do you see?

Havent heard Donyell in while

As for Ingram. Its hard to say because he is pretty raw. I like his ability to facilitate and his defensive potential more then his ability to be an alpha dog scorer. He is a guy who can go all over the map as far as comps.

I see more Durant then I do Marshall but to me, he is way too light to be playing a full NBA season. He should have stayed in school and developed his body more IMO.

He's dead smack in the middle. If he is a Durant he a poor mans Durant. Durant in a generational player, he came into the league as a one and done and scored 20 a game. Ingram is a good prospect, but he is not a generational prospect

I didn't say he was. I said he is more like Durant then Marshall IMO. Having said that, I don't know if anybody can say how good or bad he might be at this point. He has some skills but he's just not strong enough yet IMO. He's a guy the Lakers picked that will take a good three seasons, IMO, to really know what you might have.

If i had to pick a player he might be closest to, it might be Dominique Wilkins. Maybe not as good a dunker, maybe a little better shooter from range. Of course, this assumes that he puts on weight. Nique was about 20 lbs heavier so Ingram has to be able to get to that point physically but I can see him a lot like Wilkins if he does.

Could Donyell Marhsall handle the ball like a a pg? Ingram can. He ran the Lakers offense a lot last year. He struggled with his shooting 1st half of the season, 2nd half was a totally different player, more mature overall in his game. He is a versatile player. I'm a Laker fan and was impressed with his growth over the season. Especially towards the end. The guy just needs to gain more weight. His upside is very high. I won't say who he will or won't be. Don't care about that.

Only Ingram knows that answer.

I followed 80s bball. Myself don't see that comparison.
