Lots wonderful trash talking going on on The Fan.

They are talking about some of the comments the Giants are making before Sunday's game.

They were talking about how they love Brandon Jacobs because he is such a good trash talker and speaks his mind.

They said they loved his comments about Crayton. When Patrick Crayton made the comment that "We marked our territory" after beating the Giants at their stadium, a reporter asked Brandon Jacobs about it and Brandon Jacobs said, "Well it doesn't matter what Patrick Crayton says, because he sucks".

Also, here is what Michael Strahan said in some audio The Fan just played:

"If Jessica Simpson wanted to date me, I would give her a job. The man was on a bye week, it means nothing."

One guy from CBS Sports, who is a huge Cowboys fan is on the radio now saying that it will come down to the Coaching Staff. Says the Dallas Cowboys Coaching Staff has its foot on the gas and trying to get out of theree.

Brandon Jacobs will be watching the Cowboys play in the NFC championship game, so it doesn't matter.

I saw that "It doesn't matter because he sucks" interview again on the NFLN replay last night. It was so funny. Jacobs kept repeating, "That isn't fair." and "It isn't fair to say that." He looked and sounded like a six-year-old, and I swear he was about to cry... You could almost see his lip quivering.

But that's fitting for a Giants player to be a favorite because he's such a good trash talker. Yeah, that's what most of us look for in a player.

I hope the defense plays rough with Jacobs. He doesn't like it when teams play rough with him. He likes to do the hitting and hates getting hit as when he does, he starts missing games.

Roy Williams, if there is a day to return to form in stopping the run with crushing hits. This is it!

"Big Mouth" a hot topic for Crayton

WR Patrick Crayton has a long memory. He holds on to things. And this week, he's keeping in mind some stuff that Giants RB Brandon "Big Mouth" Jacobs had to say about the Cowboys.

"Jacobs talks period," Crayton said. "Ask some of the defensive guys what he says.

"He’s been talking ever since (the opener). He even talked after the first game, I think it was on a Wednesday, he was like, ‘I wish they were flying in today, I’d go wait at the airport.’ Just little stuff like that – We showed up and you weren’t there. And when we got to Giants Stadium, he still wasn’t there. I don’t where he was at. We didn’t go to the terminal."

As far as Crayton is concerned, there's a little too much talk eminating from the Giants locker room these day.

So the idea, on Sunday, is to tell them all to shut the you-know-what up.

"There are a couple of them," Crayton said. "Jacobs is talker. (Michael) Strahan does it, but he doesn’t do it directly. Go back and listen to his stuff. It’s kinda funny. ... Just go listen to his comments, they’re funny to me. You gotta really listen to them.

"Antonio (Pierce), he doesn’t do it a whole lot. He says a lot during the week, but it’s not necessarily a trash talk. It’s kind of like a sneaky confidence, the way he talks."

One thing that left us hanging a little bit was the whole Strahan thing. We'd be real appreciative if someone can come up with an example of just what Crayton's talking about it.

Find something -- meaning something not obvious -- and we'll immortalize you here on Cowboys Blog.

Micheal Strahan opines on Tony Romo

Because he's been in the league forever, Giants veteran defensive end Michael Strahan was asked about what he thought about facing a quarterback who recently returned from a weekend trip to Mexico with Jessica Simpson.

"You guys love to say, ‘Oh, he is coming off the beach and he is dating Jessica Simpson,’ please. Heck, if Jessica Simpson wanted to date me, I may give her a shot," Strahan told New York reporters today.

"I can’t blame the guy. It is your bye week, you can do whatever you want to do. If he wanted to sit in Dallas, they would have found some fault in that because he would have been with her if they had pictures of them in Dallas. So for them to go to Cabo or wherever they went, good for them. They deserve that time off. Their record indicated it, the fact that they had a first game off, a bye week, I see no fault in that. I think anybody who thinks that because he took a few days with his girlfriend that he is going to come back and not play well or he is not going to be prepared… if anything it probably stokes his fire to play even better."

I hope Roy comes to play as well. I do think the main run stopper though is Brady James who leads the team in tackles

Strahan wants to be a cowboy thats why hes no longer bad mouthing us

I love the hate on The Fan.

Boomer: Who is the Defensive Coordinator of the NY Giants?

Cart: Steve Spagnuolo?

Boomer: And where did he come from?

Cart: Philadelphia?

Boomer: Who did the Eagles have their best defensive game against?

Cart: The Cowboys

I guess he forgot about the 2 Games they lost against us :laugh1:

I like Roy and hope he comes up big I still think the main key to stopping the run will be the play of Brady James.

i think we will hold cry baby to 60-75 yards on the ground and yet our defense will still "suck"

I think if Dallas can hold him to that or less we win going away. I really would not be suprised to see the Dallas defense have a great game this weekend

All the starters are rested up, last time we had a bye week we came back and tore the eagles a new one :)

Makes you wish Wilfork would have been successful Stooging Jacobs. :D

Add Jime Nance to the list of doubters.

He is on The Fan now and said not only will the Giants cover, but the Giants will win.

He also threw out the fact that he was 15-0 against the spread in the last week of the Regular Season.

I said this weeks ago...it is on the coaching staff...this was something Jerry stressed when he brought in the new coaching staff...can you do something different in the postseason that you did not do in the regular season. Jerry talked to other scouts and GMs and they said the Cowboys had become to easy to gameplan for. If you look at the last month of the season...their is no way we put as much thought into how we were going to beat teams as we put in earlier in the year. I think that changes starting this Sunday

Translation: "Heck, if Jessica Simpson wanted to date me, I may consider 'switching teams' if you know what I mean"...Strahan told reporters.

You know what's going to happen after Dallas thrashes the Giants this weekend. All the pundits who predicted Dallas to lose will use the excuse "I thought TO wasn't playing". It'll be their cop out.

Nah, they will just move on to our next opponent and proclaim that they will beat us.
