brandon jacobs

If they are talking about that 23 yard gain, that was not a horse collar.

The rule description is too subject to interpretation.

It should be simple.

If you grab a player by the back collar of the jersey and pull him backwards and down... then its a horsecollar... .enough of this "he grabbed the pads" or "he didnt".... same effect when pulled down in that direction...unless the jersey rips

no he grabbed the jersey, not the inside of the shoulder pads :) come on now, as much as we hear about them on this board you should be able to spot that with in a second :p
yeah but i thought they adjusted the rule and the jersey counts too. don't get me wrong i think the rule is stupid. but why can't Roy just tackle like a normal football player?

confirmed listed as questionable

he talks more than most estrogen carrying lifeforms as well

By the way, I mean no offense to the ladies on this board by my comment.

I'm pretty sure Woodys Girl would whip Jacobs' whiny butt.

SO is the league reviewing Merriman's horse collar that wasn't called?

I doubt it, since he isn't #31 and plays for the Chargers.

they mentioned his and Roy's horsecollar tackles will be reviewed

I heard that was the reason Kevin Burnett was all in his grill. He was jawing with Jacobs because earlier Jacobs went down low on him - no pun intended.

BJ always goes low....pun intended.

Oh wow, I'm surprised.

I couldn't believe they didn't flag Merriman for it, was pretty obvious IMO.

Taken from another forum posted by BoysFan4ever:

He said DBs *shouldn't* be allowed to tackle RBs by the knees, to prevent injury. Per ESPN's First Take.

Patrick Crayton sucks, he also said. And Osi said the Giants are still the better team despite losing twice. Damn these Giants are a bunch of cry babies.

Why didn't this punk worry about that in College? (if he actually went to school)!

Now that he has to play with the BIG BOYS, he wants the rules changed?!!

Freaking Giants! Crybabies...all of them.

How about we change the rules so no one can tackle Jacobs at all. That way maybe the Giants would have a chance to beat the Cowboys.
