The rule description is too subject to interpretation.

It should be simple.

If you grab a player by the back collar of the jersey and pull him backwards and down... then its a horsecollar... .enough of this "he grabbed the pads" or "he didnt".... same effect when pulled down in that direction...unless the jersey rips

It shouldn't be a rule anyways. Don't make it worse than it already is. Football is a game of contact. Some contact hurts more than others and puts more strain on the body than others. If you don't want to deal with the stresses that contact brings then fall down, quit playing, or deal with it. Quit being a puss.

Why didn't this punk worry about that in College? (if he actually went to school)!

Funny thing about that. He went to Auburn but didn't like being behind Cadillac Williams and Ronnie Brown, so he transferred to Southern Illinois so he could start.

Seems to me he's always taking the easy way out. Couldn't beat out Williams and Brown so transfer to another school. Can't run over the Cowboys so try to get the rules changed.

For a 6'4" guy weighing 264 lbs, he sure is acting like a sissy. This is the same guy who said he was going to beat down the Dallas D into submission.

What a punk!!!

Jacobs was also asked about Crayton's "leaving a mark" comments, and Jacobs said that we were a great team, but Crayton sucks, and shouldn't have said it lol

That be a fantastic rule.. We see the results when someone tackles The Barbarian high..

It amazes me that people never go at his legs. JJ that's all they go for, but Marion they all try to take high. They deserve the punches they get.
