Has anyone heard of this player? Draft Blitz has him as the 5th rated DE in the 2010 class. He is a Jr. whom I believe has already committed to the draft. This kid as some serious numbers:
6-4, 250, 4.60. 2008: 10.5 sacks, 17.5 TFLs, 28 QBHs, 2 FFs. Lang had 4.5 sacks & 8 TFLs his FR. season, then started the first 3 games his SO. year before suffering a season-ending knee injury.

Lang originally signed with Georgia out of Tucker High, but attended Hargrave Military Academy in Virginia.

This kid seems like a QB sacking machine. In HS, he set the Georgia state sack & TFL records his senior season with 35 & 61 respectively. Lang ended his career at Tucker with 71 sacks! Just to show what an athlete he is, he also played TE, and recorded 50 receptions for 1,220 yds. and 12 TDs during his career.

The odd thing is that when I try to find Lang in any mocks or All-Star Game rosters, he is not listed. With just the numbers Lang put up last season, with 10.5 sacks and 28 QBHs, it seems to me that he would appeal to quite a few teams looking for a player who can put pressure on the passer.

Any info would be appreciated.

I don't see him on the list of declared juniors. I think he is returning to Troy.

Thanks guys. That explains a lot. I didn't think someone that good would just get passed over. Wouldn't that be cool if the Cowboys were in a position to draft him after another stellar season at Troy? We'd have two pass rushing studs from Troy making life miserable for NFC East QBs. It's not like this kid just came on the scene. To own the all-time high school season Georgia sack record & 71 for a high school career, he has to have some serious talent.

I guess it will all depend on how well Spencer does next season. Even if he does well, though, you can never have enough pass rushers.
