BRANDON LLOYD SPECULATES THAT AIKMAN IS GAY

Commanders receiver Brandon Lloyd has some eye-opening comments about former Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman during a Monday visit with the Sports Junkies on WJFK in D.C.

"I don't believe Troy Aikman anyway," Lloyd said. "He wasn't man enough to admit his personal life situation when he was a player." ​

Pressed by the Junkies to clarify his comments, Lloyd tried to backtrack. "I'm speculating," he said, laughing, "just like he speculates."​

Later in the spot, Lloyd says that his former teammate, Jeff Garcia, isn't gay.

When listening to Lloyd's remarks, which come at about nine minutes and seventeen minutes of the spot, further illustrate how difficult it would be for a guy who comes out of the closet to survive in the locker room.​

I haven't listened to Lloyd speak, but it takes one to know one. How can these guys be so POSITIVE about someone else's sexuality? That's why when TO called out Garcia, I was like hmmmmmm. TO might've just said it out of anger, though. Either way, it is ridiculous to speculate about such things unless you have caught this person in action or been with him yourself.

Brandon Lloyd have lot more professional problems to be concerned with than other person's sexual preference. His career is in shambles, free falling to #4 receiver even though the Commanders doesn't have great WRs. Even old man McCardell played and made contributions last Sunday, whereas Lloyd rode the pine once again. He is having one heck of season with ONE catch for nine yard this season.

With all the free time at his disposal, I guess he does have enough time to be concerned with other people's lives.

In all seriousness, I haven't clicked the link yet. I do however, remember someone back in the day calling Aikman gay (can't recall who it was).

But if Lloyd (if true and not taken out of context) is calling Aikman gay...it's beyond explanation, I doubt he even knows the man outside of a brief, hey how are you situation, or short interview.
