Brandon Marshall agrees to terms with Giants

He's more into his TV gig than his team.

I don't understand why the Jets let him be a regular analyst discussing his opinions of all things football on television while he played on Sundays for them.

Probably for the same reason josh Norman was doing his tv gig

Good pickup if Eli can still throw the ball, people seem to forget that last season the further he had to throw the more the ball sailed on him.

I think he didn't want to move. He can still be effective and will retire at the end of the contract.

Strange fit---he doesn't seem like the guy that will want to be a second or third option on the team. I bet this decision came down to his family.

He's already geared up for a commentating job so not having to move from New York is a definite plus.

He is starting his 12th year. He knows his door is closing. I'm pretty sure this is a win now move. The Giants (no matter what you think of Eli) have a far better QB than the Jets. He also has other major threats on the field now to give him more opportunity to make plays.

It's a good move for him. At the rate they say T-Will might get, this would have been a good move for the Cowboys. Though, I still can't imagine what fool would pay T-Will $6-8M a year. That's just plain dumb.

It's so strange hearing Marshall questioning the front office decisions of the Titans or the playcalling of the Dolphins two days before he plays in a game.

Now they will draft O.J. Howard to complete the process.

Not yet. Not until after

Giants sign Marshall
Skins sign Poe and Church
Eagles sign Britt

Then we can start them

We are bringing in an aging backup QB, and just signed signed Star Louitel's little brother thank you very much!!

So can we start the annual 'Why are we doing nothing in Free Agency??!!' Threads yet?

Yeah, it's an annual event for Cowboys fans to totally flip out during the first two weeks of Free Agency.
