what the hell was that? did he have to end the game the way he did? was there a reason to jog the width of the field just before the goal line? that was disrespectful and a slap in the face. Just score the dang touchdown and then celebrate. This display disgusts me...and I no longer have any use for Stokley, not that I had much use for him before.

I wish a Bengal would have come up behind him and knocked him the bleep out before he scored....that would have been hilarious.

Nah, it was a smart play. He was just running out extra time. I think he wasted about five extra seconds in doing so. I thought he did his best to show he wasn't taunting while doing it, as he wasn't jumping around or strutting.

By the way, kinda humorous, but ESPN just showed the highlight of the Stokley catch.

The announcer said Roy Williams was supposed to be the last line of defense, but went and hit the receiver that the pass was intended for as Stokley was hauling in the ball and running down the field. Ha.

I don't know how anyone could lay the blame on any single player for that play. To say Roy was the last line of defense is kind of a slap in the face to any DB who has ever been on the unfortunate end of a luckier than all hell bounce.

It was a heads up play by Brandon to do that. He took an extra handful of seconds off the clock and thus gave the Bengals that much less to work with in an attempt to score at the end themselves.

I've often wondered why more guys don't do that, when they can, at the end of games.
