Butler got his own thread, so let's give Brandon Williams one, too. :)

Here's a good youtube of him. Not one of those fan vids with bad music and more celebrating than plays, but a wide-angle view of the field so you can see what is happening.

Looks to me like Williams is pretty fast around the corner and has a good burst when he gets a clear shot at the QB.

And these are some pretty good teams Tech is playing: OSU, Texas, even Kansas. And tripping up Robert Griffin, the Big 12 400m hurdles champ and one of the best athletes in college football, isn't bad either.

Pretty pumped about this guy.

He looks extremely fast. Not much strenth going 1-on-1 but wow he can get around that corner fast.

I saw this video this morning in the thread Deep Bleu posted. It was very impressive to me.

He lines up in 3 man fronts, 4 man fronts, and 5 man fronts. He lines up left and right. He even lines up as an ILB in one.

In all of them he gets consistent pressure. Anthony Spencer step it up or this man is opposite Ware.

He doesn't just have a burst of the snap, like the great ones, he also has that second burst to close. He gets a QB in his sights he kicks up a gear. Nice.

Like the rare WRs that have an extra burst when they see the ball in the air -- an extra burst that doesn't show in 40 times on a track -- the best pass rushers have an extra burst when they get the QB in their sights. I've always thought that some guys get an adrenaline rush at those times, and it gives them that extra gear.

Well tech did something right until the last three games of the season where they kind of unraveled after being shell shocked by Oklahoma and almost losing at home to Baylor then the bowl game.

Naturally they were a top five team all year, so their roster is being examined thoroughly on account of their success.

This is the first time in many years their defense was worthy of NFL review.

Williams will be fine in my opinion, he's not undersized like the other Tech DE that went pro and didn't quite make it, Montae Reagor.

Yep. Gotta give credit to Bear and a couple of other posters who had this kid on their radar early. BWill needs to get stronger, but he sure as heck can play.
