Anyone still up watching this? Just started the 19th inning in this one.

Oh, and this game started at 7PM (EST).

Should also note - if you watch this game, turn to the Braves broadcast to listen to this little girl who keeps yelling "LETS GO PIRATES!" This is a young girl >10, and she's been doing this ALL GAME. You can hear her as plain as day with the broadcast going on. No clue on how this little girl keeps doing this.

Scott Proctor with the win and the GW RBI.

Horrible call by the ump, as Lugo was out by a green mile, but he just looked like he wanted to get back to his hotel. Horrible way to end this game.

Oh, and LOL, at Proctor face planting coming out of the batters box.

Yeah they got robbed, shame. That's why we need instant replays at the plate imo.

I watched it a bunch of times...I don't think he actually tagged him.

Watched the whole game. No way in hell was Lugo safe. Clint Hurdle should have decked that fool.

That umpire had been making horrible calls and was trying to start stuff with the players all night long. MLB needs to do something about these egotistical umps that think they are bigger than the game.

DIAF, that is probably the one thing that will get overlooked last night. People will only remember that call, but it wasn't the only bad call he made last night. Inconsistent strike zone from inning to inning, he baited McLouth into an ejection, threw out Fredi before he could hardly get a word out, and more than once tried to bait pitchers into saying something for his inconsistent strike zone.

Not just for that call, but that entire game should allow for Meals to get a LONG suspension from baseball. Unfortunately, umps are coddled more than anyone in any sport.

I will agree that MLB's umpires are pretty awful, and I will agree that the calls were horrendous on both sides all night, but I still don't think he tagged him. I think the media overreaction has been stellar.

Me neither. But that might be homerism.

Just don't see a tag anywhere.

Meals' family harassed following the game

I know the Pirates haven't played relevant games in years, but it's still a JULY game. Stay classy, Pittsburgh.
