what do you guys think happens to him? A lot of talk of Cleveland trading him and here in NY the giants players have been praising him non-stop. But what happens if Michael Crabtree is drafted before Cleveland has a chance to get him? do they still trade Braylon and draft Maclin? Do they keep Braylon since they traded Winslow and Stallworth has his situation going on?

Cleveland is pruging so i think they intend on trading him. He's not been the best "team" guy in the world and it sure looks like they are trying to change the attitude on that team.

I think they draft Crabby whether or not Braylon get's traded. They don't have any offensive firepower other than Bray and he's on his last year of his contract. They might want to try out Crabs and Bray out for a full year and then go from there. The Giants might not like what's available at 29 if Nicks and Britt are gone so they could still trade that pick for Braylon since they don't like the prospects that are still on the board.

they don't want to have give him the big contract he's coming up on soon and he was a complete bum last year.

I think he goes somewhere else towards this weekend.

Would you want Edwards as a Cowboy? Giants offering a 2nd and a 4th. What would you offer if you wanted him as a Cowboy?

Browns want a 1st and Kiwanuka. Giants know they are the only team interested in Edwards so they are only offering a 2nd and a 4th. Kiwanuka is a deal killer for the Giants.

The browns are pretending there is more interest than there is.

The giants are pretending they are not thinking about trades anymore only about the draft.

I really don't think hes worth a 1st. I think he will get traded to the Giants for what they are asking. I would be shocked if the Browns get the better deal. Only other option I see is that he wont get traded. Don't see the browns getting a steal out of this.

I imagine he'll be part of some draft day deal on Saturday. I'd be mildly surprised at this point if he winds up staying in Cleveland for the season.

I think Braylon is going to the Giants regardless of what happens in the draft.

If Sanchez goes early it could shake things up that Crabtree falls all the way to 10....that would be wild. I'm not predicting it, as I think Jacksonville would be nuts not to take him--even though they have Holt.

I think that the Browns are the ones holding all the cards in this. The Browns don't HAVE to trade Braylon Edwards this year. They can hold onto him and hope he improves on his 2008 year and put the franchise tag on him and trade him then....

The Giants on the other hand have shown that they can't do ANYTHING on offense with their current lineup and HAVE to get a #1 WR.

Sal Palintonio just reported that the Giants are treating the Braylon trade as dead now and goes on to speculate that perhaps they will take a WR with the 29th pick Hakeem Nicks, or jumping ahead of the jets at 17 to take Darrius Heyward-Bay.

I would be happy with that.

I know there are alot of people on this board that LOVE Hakeem Nicks, but I would certainly be WORRIED about a WR that has weight questions. Also, while there certainly have been a few WR's that end up performing very well in the NFL with slow stopwatch times, the list is MUCH MUCH longer of guys who have been complete busts that have slow stop watch times.

And Darrius Heyward-Bey while super fast, has problems running good routes and has questionable hands. And in the NFL it is route running, not speed that gets you open.... Of all of the WR's being talked about a first round talents, the one that sticks out to me as the surest thing to bust is Heyward-Bey.

Norm said the Browns want a 1st & 3rd for Edwards. The Cardinals want a 1st & 3rd for Boldin....so let those teams swap WR's, and be done with it.

Edwards is way over rated. He had one really good year and the rest were blah at best and he drops the ball more then TO ever did.

Brilliant.:)

I agree with one of the post above. BE has the worst hands as a top tier WR. I had him last year in fantasy football, so I paid close attention to him. The guy has horrible hands. He had problems catching outs and slants. He had one good game and the rest, not so much.
