Free agent linebacker Bart Scott has just finalized a multi-year contract with the New York Jets, sources close to the situation have just informed the National Football Post.

A seven-year veteran out of Southern Illinois, Scott had 82 tackles and 1.5 sacks in 16 games for the Ravens last season.

Doubt that too. I see no way he goes to Denver. Yes I know the ties, I just don't see it happening. He wants to win while playing in a 3-4 and that isn't going to happen in Denver.

If money isn't an issue and actually playing and winning is. I bet he ends up here in Dallas. If money is an issue. He is staying with the Ravens or heading to the Jets to be with Rex and Scott.

I think he stays in Baltimore now. I can't see them losing Ray and Bart in one off season, especially after they cut Chris and could lose starting safety Leonard as well. That would leave them with a lot of holes to plug.

Where did you ever see Ray wants to win while playing in a 3-4? I live in Baltimore and see non-stop Ravens coverage and never saw that claim in my life. As a matter of fact, most people get confused and think Ray hates the 3-4 despite the fact the Ravens have played it under Ryan.

Whoops I crossed my LBs. That is Peppers that WANTS to play in a 3-4. As for Ray hating the 3-4, thats a load of crap. Any linebacker should prefer a 3-4 to a 4-3 for many reasons.

No, I don't. I see us looking for an ILB to compliment James, not one to replace him. If we're looking for veteran leadership at ILB I would rather bring in a Derrick Brooks for half the money Ray will demand. I'd prefer bringing back Zach Thomas to either option. I prefer Burnett or Carpenter being given the shot to Ray being paid $10 million per year. I prefer to draft an ILB. I think the Ray Lewis dreams were nightmares.

Who said Ray is going to break the bank? If Ray is willing to take less to be a Cowboy, then I perfer them to bring Ray in, move Bradie over, and draft a linebacker and have Ray Ray mentor him for the next two years.
